In April of 2018, the islands of Hawai'i were hit by a tremendous storm. One of the hardest hit areas was the town of Hanalei on Kauai's North Shore.
Having first travelled to Kauai in 2005, the island holds a very special place in our heart. It is where we first fell in love with Hawai'i; it's beauty, it's people, it's culture. The town of Hanalei is our most favorite place in the world.
Our 'Hanalei Vibes' design shows some of the most well known and iconic aspects of the area. Lush Kalo(Taro) fields welcome you as you cross the bridge into town. Paddlers cruise the river while kids backflip off the pier and others learn to surf in the gentle shallow waters. One new addition is the bison. Once a little known resident, they've now taken over as the official mascot in town.
Project X has already donated more than $3000.00 to recovery efforts in Hawai'i. It is our intention to donate additional proceeds from the sales of this design to aid in additional recovery efforts.
